This is a post about my Grandma and how she supported me (Carrie) after we lost our Cassidy. Grandma passed away this January, and shortly before she passed through the veil, my cousin Melissa (also an angel momma) took a picture of what was on her sewing table- Grandma had mini diapers and gowns cut out, ready to sew for us! In her honor we have sewn them up, and have started to donate them, but I couldn't donate them all...
Here is the shadow box I now have in my sewing room- it has a tribute to her from Teeny Tears, a small gown and diaper and the distribution cards that go along with them, and some pictures. I sure miss her, and I'll always remember the last time we spoke. We video chatted because I couldn't make it through a snowstorm to say my final good bye, and as we were finishing the conversation, she gave my cousin Angela a hug for me, and we blew kisses to one another. Love you Grandma Scott, muah!
This post is from the "Capture Your Grief Project", and was done a short 3 months after Cassidy passed away. Grandma Scott had been supportive from the very beginning...

Day 11, Supportive Friends and Family
I have tons of supportive people in my life, but I chose this person, because it just brings tears to my eyes to think about her. One of my grandmas died a few months before my baby girl, and I think of my other grandma as my earthly angel, so I have lots of angels around me :) When I last visited, my sweet Grandma Scott had sewed all of these Teeny Tears diapers (more on that in later posts) for my mini diaper project! I can't believe she can still do such intricate things, and I just love how supportive she is... The day we found out Cassidy didn't have a heartbeat, she traveled 3 hours to my house with my mom, so she wouldn't have to drive alone. She then spent the next few days cleaning my house and helping with the kids-- at 91!?! I just love her.
